Annual Reindeer Fun Run will be held on Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. Meet at the Clearview Community Centre for a 5km run. Entry fee is $5 plus a donation to the Red Deer Food Bank, with proceeds going to the Food Bank. Snacks and refreshments included. For more information call Diane at 403-346-7437.

Bottles for a Brighter Christmas in support of Red Deer Christmas Bureau continues until Jan. 3 at Cosmos I and Cosmos II Bottle Depots. Make a donation of bottles or cash to the Christmas Bureau and enter to win one of two gift certificates from Parkland Mall merchants. Sponsored by Parkland Mall, Coca Cola, Big 105 FM and The Drive 106.7 FM.

Christmas dinner and dance with The Emeralds, sponsored by the Alberta Pattern Dancers, will be offered on Dec. 27 at the Lacombe Memorial Centre. Tickets for dinner and dance are $40 or $25 for dance only. Half price for those under 17 years. For tickets call David at 403-885-2785.
