Dr. Tererai Trent, in partnership with A Better World, will launch Freedom Run 5000 on April 1, 7 p.m. at the Red Deer Lodge and again April 2, 7:30 p.m. at Canadian University College in Lacombe. Dr. Trent will share in the dream of students from the college who have set the goal to build classrooms and educate 5000 girls. Join the Cultural Café at Bethany CollegeSide, room CS 2182 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. to find out about inter-cultural communication and share views on the elimination of racial discrimination. Diversity Canvas will be offered at the RDC Forum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to all to create a canvas to reflect RDC’s racial diversity.
