Satnam Singh Sandhu charged with second-degree murder after wife died in hospital on Saturday

A Sylvan Lake man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his wife.

Sylvan Lake RCMP said they responded to a 911 call from a neighbourhood last Wednesday at about 10 a.m.

When police arrived, they found a 36-year-old woman with serious injuries who was taken to hospital.

A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

The woman, Kulvinder Sandhu, died from her injuries in hospital Saturday.

Satnam Singh Sandhu has now been charged with his wife’s murder. He is due in Red Deer provincial court on Wednesday.
