Sylvan Lake RCMP is investigating after receiving numerous calls about a large disturbance involving guns and knives in the pier area of the town’s beach.
About 200 people were in close proximity to the incident last Wednesday at about 8 p.m. The investigation has identified a smaller group and one person of interest, police said Friday.
The person of interest is described as a Caucasian man with a slim build. He was wearing red high-top shoes with black laces, camouflage pants, a red baseball cap with a flat brim and a black T-shirt with a masked skull logo.
