Alberta Health Services Central Zone says all other services at the Community Health Centre continue operating as normal.

All other services at the Community Health Centre continue operating as normal.
Three weeks ago on May 3, the Sylvan Lake Advanced Ambulatory Care Service had its hours reduced, and on May 5 it was closed for part of the day. A week later on May 13, it was closed for the entire day and evening.
The change in hours of operation were also due to a lack of physician coverage.
Between Christmas and March 1, the clinic was closed at least six times.
Sylvan Lake Advanced Ambulatory Care Service offers diagnosis and treatment of urgent but non-life-threatening conditions, including sudden illness or injury that could be cared for in a doctor’s office but requires immediate attention.
The service is typically open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
