Sylvan Lake’s NexSource Centre having grand opening

Lots of activities planned from May 12-14 for grand opening of new Sylvan Lake recreation complex

Sylvan Lake’s recreational crown jewel will be celebrated at a three-day open house.

NexSource Centre opened in late March and the official grand opening has been scheduled for May 12-14.

An official ribbon cutting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on May 12 followed by dueling pianos from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The Seniors Centre will also have an open house and there will be a number of other activities, such as skating and pickle ball.

A Family Fun Festival will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 13. There will be an obstacle course, six-metre slide, bouncy castles and other activities. Throughout the day, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. movies will be shown and popcorn available.

On May 14, visitors can enjoy free admission and the regular programs and activities.
