Sylvan Lake’s Pumpkin House was vandalized and repaired over the course of the weekend.

On Saturday morning, the Town of Sylvan Lake posted a photo on Facebook showing the house surrounded by smashed pumpkins, which were originally placed on the walls of the small wooden structure.

Around noon on Sunday, the town posted an update showing new pumpkins on the walls.

“This community is amazing. In minutes, the Pumpkin House was back to its original state, but with a little extra love from its residents,” the Facebook post said.

The town thanked those who helped clean up and replace the pumpkins that were smashed.
