Teen reported missing from Wetaskiwin

Police seek public’s assistance

A 16-year-old Wetaskiwin girl has been reported missing.

RCMP said Shakira Paris Soosay was last seen in Wetaskiwin late Saturday.

Soosay is known to frequent the Wetaskiwin area and may be in the Samson First Nations area.

Efforts to locate Soosay have been unsuccessful and Wetaskiwin RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance.

Soosay, who is Indigenous, is five foot five, 184 pounds, and has short blond hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Soosay’s whereabouts, or has been in contact with her, is asked to contact the RCMP at 780-312-7200.
