Runners set out at the start of the Terry Fox Run from Heritage Ranch Sunday. About 200 cyclists, walkers and inline skaters also participated in the 29th annual event, raising about $12,000 to fight cancer. Other fundraising walks that took place over the weekend were the Give the Gift of Life Fun Run and Walk for the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the SuperWalk for Parkinson’s for the Parkinson’s Society Canada.
