A third snow storage site is now open to registered private contractors operating in Red Deer.
Contractors began hauling snow to the site on Wednesday night.
Due to limited remaining capacity at the two original snow sites, they will remain closed to private contractors.
The city worked closely with Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development to narrow down the potential temporary sites and to ensure all environmental regulations are being met.
The third site is accessible from 40th Avenue onto 78th Street Crescent in north Red Deer.
