Three Hills RCMP is investigating after a shooting was reported in the Village of Delburne on Monday morning.

Three Hills RCMP is investigating after a shooting was reported in the Village of Delburne on Monday morning.

At 6:15 a.m., police received reports of a shooting along 22 Avenue in Delburne. Officers spoke with witnesses surrounding the area.

“Upon police arrival, the suspect had fled in a vehicle,” RCMP said in a media release on Monday.

“Although early in the investigation, RCMP believe that this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the community.”

Three Hills RCMP is looking to speak with anyone who may have residential surveillance footage or still images of a grey or silver Dodge Ram in the 22 Avenue area of Delburne from 5:30-6:30 a.m. on Monday.
