A Three Hills man took home a $1 million prize thanks to his BIG 10 ticket.
Les Bruck won on his ZING ticket which he purchased early in the day, but didn’t scratch until almost midnight.
“I sat at my desk staring at the ticket for a little while and then I texted my wife: ‘How would you like to wake up a millionaire?’” Bruck texted.
The winner said he plans to invest most of his windfall, but does have at least one fun purchase planned in the near future.
“My wife and I would like to buy a motorhome and travel across Canada. We’ve never been east of Alberta. When it’s safe to travel again, that’s something we would like to do.”
Western Canada Lottery Corporation said Bruck is the second Albertan to win a million dollars, or more, on a ZING ticket in 2021. He is also the 19th Albertan to take home a lottery prize of more than a million dollars this year.
