Three Mile Bend closed temporarily

Access to Three Mile Bend, a recreational area in Red Deer, will be closed temporarily to allow clearing of a power line. The City of Red Deer advises that the park will close at 9 p.m. Monday and reopen at 5 a.m. on Tuesday while crews from AltaLink clear brush and fallen trees, which can become a hazard. The Oxbows off-leash park is a suggested alternative while Three Mile Bend is closed.
