Tim Hortons and 7-Eleven Canada are notifying customers who may have visited the store at 45 Gasoline Alley E, that one of the team members has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

7-Eleven Canada and Tim Hortons team members are self-isolating, with pay, for 14 days.

Any customers who may have visited this location recently can visit ahs.ca/covid to access the COVID-19 online self-assessment tool and other health information, a news release states.

In consultation with Alberta Health Services, we temporarily closed the store/restaurant to thoroughly clean and sanitize the location.

“We are re-opening on Wednesday, Aug. 19 with staff who did not work with the affected team member,” states the release.

As a neighbourhood store and convenient delivery provider in so many communities, 7-Eleven Canada has taken steps to prioritize the health of their customers and employees across our 636 stores in Canada.

“With our partner Tim Hortons, we have enhanced our standards and procedures for hygiene, handwashing, sanitation, food handling and preparation at this location, and increased the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces. We have installed sneeze guards at sales counters and visual floor markers in checkout lines that reinforce social distancing, as well as limit customer traffic in stores.”
