Left to right, Natalie and Callista Smith, and Kelly Stephenson of Red Deer found no warmth from their paper Olympic torches, so they huddled around one of the large fire pits at the Bower Ponds Winterfest on Saturday. Quite possibly the chilly conditions and the Winter Olympics on TV contributed to the reduced attendance at this years event.
