The eight students from all over western Canada spent two hours working together to design and create a large glass blow fish as part of a final project in the class. The class which is one of the few hot glass summer programs in North America was part of the Red Deer College Series: Summer School of the Arts which ran through out July and August and featured classes in sculpture, paint, ceramics, jewelry, metalsmithing, fiber art and glass beading.
