The pre-school Sea Turtles program, which runs twice a week at the Recreation Centre pool, provides an introduction to having fun in the water. Participants like Mia Wright, right, under the watchful eye of lifeguard/instructor Kayla Rogers, are introduced to getting wet, floating, sliding and eventually full immersion by dunking their entire head under water. Most often, the reactions are totally unpredictable.
