Tourism Red Deer has found its new executive director.
Rene Rondeau will be starting in his new position part time on May 15 and full time on June 1.
“I am looking forward to this opportunity. From living and working in central Alberta for the last 25 years, I have been on the other side of the fence, working with media and promotion,” Rondeau said in a release Friday.
“I feel this will be a transition into something I know and love in my own backyard. I have done a lot of work with Tourism Red Deer and their partners in the past, so I know what the members are looking for and have those partnerships in this area.”
Rondeau is the manager and producer for the Red Deer Rebels broadcasts and scoreboard.
