RCMP have lifted a temporary tow advisory put into effect earlier Thursday on Hwy 2 south of Red Deer to Innisfail.
Staff Sgt. Gord Glasgow of Red Deer Rural RCMP said motorists should still exercise caution when driving on the highway because road conditions can change rapidly in winter.
He said about five or six vehicles hit the ditch in the morning. One person was injured but not seriously in one of the crashes.
