Traffic disruptions coming at Ross Street and 30th Avenue

Between Aug. 17 and Sept. 1 there will be intermittent lane closures

Red Deer drivers can expect traffic disruptions as crews work to complete roadway improvements at the Ross Street and 30th Avenue intersection.

Between Aug. 17 and Sept. 1, there will be intermittent lane closures and drivers should anticipate delays or plan alternate routes. On Aug. 17, 22 and 23, the intersection will be fully closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and detours will be in place. Signs will be placed to notify drivers of detours and closures as they occur.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.

All road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change. For information about road construction and closures visit www.reddeer.ca/roadclosures. Any impacts to transit routes can be viewed at www.reddeer.ca/transitdisruptions.
