Motorists should expect some traffic disruptions in downtown Red Deer next week
The closure on 49 Street between 51 Avenue and 49 Avenue is expected to be in place until Friday, Oct. 14.
On Tuesday, Oct. 11, 48 Street will be closed between 48 Avenue and 49 Avenue from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, 47 Avenue will be closed between 45 Street and 46 Street. This closure will last until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Signs will notify motorists of all traffic disruptions. Drivers are reminded to slow down and obey all signs when driving in construction zones.
Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
