Traffic signal upgrades are scheduled for Sunday in south Red Deer.

Drivers should expect delays at the intersection of Boyce Street and Gaetz Avenue between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m.

There will be intermittent lane closures and when signals are out of service there will be temporary stop signs in place making the intersection a four-way stop.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs, and pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.

All road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
