Ponoka RCMP is advising of poor driving condition on QEII.
Hwy 2 between Wetaskiwin and Red Deer is particularly treacherous.
The roads are reported to be very icy, as well there is very low visibility due to high winds and blowing snow.
Ponoka RCMP advise travel in the area is not recommended and request motorists to avoid the area.
