Trio accused of trying to steal Ponoka man’s vehicle when he was in it

Three suspects who allegedly tried to steal a Ponoka man’s vehicle while he was in it were tracked down and charged by RCMP.

Ponoka RCMP said in a statement that they received a call on Tuesday at 4:52 a.m. that a man had been assaulted with a weapon.

The man was outside his vehicle when three males threatened him and tried to take his vehicle.
