Adam Frisch passes laundry detergent to Anna Sheridan, the Central Alberta Women‘s Emergency Shelter volunteer co-ordinator, as she and other shelter workers unload a truckload of donations Friday. Frisch and his sister Darlene Dorchak made the donation of Unilever Canada foods and personal care items through their charity Never Give Up! (www.never-give-up.ca), which they started after their sister Karen Beck was murdered by her estranged husband in 2007. Frisch is also slated to to attend the shelter’s Breakfast With The Guys event in November to speak candidly about domestic violence.
