Red Deer RCMP are calling a shooting in Deer Park on Tuesday a targeted attack.

No one was injured in the shooting and no one has been arrested.

Police responded at about 10:45 p.m. to a report of shots fired on Denovan Crescent. They found a vehicle parked in a residential driveway with two bullet holes and evidence that another bullet had ricocheted off its roof. Another bullet was found in the soffit of a residence on the same crescent.

RCMP said they continue to conduct extensive interviews in the area and look for witnesses.

At this point in the investigation, police believe it was a targeted act.

One man who lives in the area said earlier he heard five or six shots that evening but did not see the shooting or shooter.
