Two Red Deer residents are facing drug-related charges following a drug bust in the south end neighbourhood of Morrisroe on Sunday.
Red Deer city RCMP conducted a search at about 7:30 p.m. on a home as part of an investigation. Two occupants of the home on Malcolm Crescent were arrested.
Police say they seized a stolen utility trailer, drug paraphernalia and quantities of crack cocaine, ecstasy tablets, marijuana and morphine.
The trailer had been reported stolen from the rural area on May 29, say police.
A 37-year-old man, whose name wasn’t released, will appear in Red Deer provincial court on Sept. 7 on three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of stolen property. A 33-year-old woman will appear on the same day on three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Both were released from police custody.
