Two females robbed, one of them injured, at Fort Normandeau Park

Police are searching for a third suspect

Two suspects have been arrested and RCMP continue to look for a third person following a robbery.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Red Deer RCMP and emergency medical services responded to a call of a robbery in the area of Fort Normandeau Park.

Three individuals approached two females and one of the females was injured by an Airsoft pistol. She was treated for minor injuries.

Jaydyn Lovelace, 24, of Red Deer has been charged with robbery, uttering threats, possession of a weapon, breach of probation and failing to comply with conditions of release.

Brandon Wegner, 29, of Red Deer, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with conditions of his release.

An investigation continues into the third suspect.
