City crews will be working on 49th Avenue near the entrance of Baymont Inn and Suites on Tuesday and Wednesday and will close two northbound lanes on the east side of the road and the sidewalk.
Work between 43rd Street and the hotel entrance will start Tuesday at 8 a.m and continue until Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The two west lanes and the west sidewalk will remain open to traffic and pedestrians.
To avoid potential delays, drivers are asked to use 48th Avenue as a detour, and are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs.
