Two Calgary men will appear in Red Deer court on Friday on several charges stemming from an incident last Friday in which a Red Deer man was forcibly confined, beaten and robbed.

And RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a third Calgarian believed to be involved in the incident, which was reported to police on Saturday.

Const. Sabrina Grunow of city RCMP said Wednesday that a 35-year-old was allegedly confined in a bathroom and robbed and beaten by the suspects who were known to him.

The victim, who suffered undisclosed injuries, was then dropped off in the downtown Red Deer area by the suspects.

Police then obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 4700 block of 55th Street and arrested two suspects without incident. Thon Bul Tor, 29, and Gabriel Kuereng, 28, will appear in court Friday.

Each faces charges of forcible confinement, extortion with a firearm, robbery with a firearm, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

An arrest warrant was issued for Elia Dominic, 24, of Red Deer, who is also know as Ice or Kevin.

Dominic is described as being 1.9 metres (six feet, two inches) tall and weighs 86 kg (190 pounds).
