Red Deer RCMP say two people were injured in an altercation early Thursday morning and officers remain on scene at residences on Kitson Close and Iverson Close.
Police said the two people sustained non-serious injuries at a Kitson Close residence shortly before 5:30 a.m.
Police said those involved were known to each other and there was no risk to the public.
RCMP continue to investigate and will issue an update as more information becomes available, including any charges and the names of those charged once those charges have been sworn before the courts.
