A pair of Stettler men have been arrested and charged for drug and weapon offences.
On March 14, Consort RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the back alley on 52 St. in Consort. Police located the vehicle and after a search, discovered a loaded revolver, drug paraphernalia and what was believed to be methamphetamine.
A 29-year-old man from Stettler is facing charges that include, trafficking an illegal substance, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a break-in instrument and failure to comply.
A 49-year-old man, also from Stettler, is facing charges of trafficking an illegal substance, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a break-in instrument.
Both men were released from custody and will appear in Coronation Provincial Court on May 14.
