Two teens, ages 13 and 14, charged with armed robbery

According to police, a lone masked person brandishing a knife entered the Delburne Fas Gas service station. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items.

On Tuesday, Three Hills RCMP charged a 13-year-old female with a single count of armed robbery.

On Wednesday, a 14-year-old male was charged with armed robbery, wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

Both youth have been released from custody. The male youth is to appear in Drumheller provincial court on April 25; the female is scheduled to appear on June 4.

RCMP have recovered a portion of the stolen property, according to a release.

No one was injured during the robbery and no other suspects are being sought, according to the RCMP.
