UFA is moving its Red Deer Farm and Ranch Supply store to Red Deer County’s Gasoline Alley.
The new 16,000-square-foot store will include a large yard, chem shed, three-bay drive-through warehouse, and new Cardlock fuel service.
Construction will begin this year, with an anticipated opening in late 2024. The current Farm and Ranch Supply store in Burnt Lake Business Park just west of Red Deer will remain open until the new store opens.
The Bar W office and shop and the existing Cardlock will continue to operate at the 204 Burnt Ridge Road location.
“Red Deer is a vibrant and strong market, and we are pleased to be able to enhance our service offering to its residents with the improvements we are making,” said Glenn Bingley, UFA AgriBusiness and Supply Chain vice-president in a statement.
“The investment UFA is making reflects our commitment to members and customers in the region and aligns with our aim to be the most trusted supplier of products and services in the markets we serve.”
UFA president and CEO Scott Bolton said the organization has a responsibility to support the farmers and ranchers who feed the world.
