The United Way of Central Alberta is conducting its annual fundraising event a bit differently this year.
The event, Sept. 10 from 3 to 4 p.m., will be a drive-in theatre at the Parkland Mall parking lot near GoodLife Fitness. Tickets are $30 and include an entry into a raffle for a staycation prize pack valued at more than $2,000.
The event will also be streamed live and will feature the premiere of the United Way’s locally produced campaign video.
Typically, the United Way holds a luncheon as its fundraiser.
