An unlikely visitor spread some cheer and good tidings this week at the Three Hills Health Care Centre.

Elnora resident Jamie Pennock brought her horse Hudson, to visit her Grandma, Eva, who has been at the facility since September with a broken arm and hip. Pennock said other family members had brought dogs but since she doesn’t have one, she did the next best thing.

“My grandma loves horses, so we loaded up my horse, Hudson, and took him to her window,” she recalled.

“We also made laps around the hospital and rode by others’ windows. It was so heartwarming to see their faces light up and wave.”
