Vandals have struck again at an elementary school under construction in Inglewood

RCMP said they responded to a break-in at Don Campbell Elementary School on Irving Crescent about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Suspects broke into the construction site and sprayed graffiti on numerous walls throughout the uncompleted school causing “significant damage.”

Earlier this month, vandals hit the same school. Fire extinguishers were sprayed around in the inside of the building.

Police have their suspicions about who might be involved in the latest incident.

“Based on the type of graffiti and activities that appear to have taken place, at this point in the investigation RCMP believe the suspects may be a group of youth,” say police.

“RCMP remind citizens that vandalism of this sort is not a harmless prank.”

If caught, the culprits could face break and enter, trespassing and mischief charges, say police.
