RCMP looking for help tracking down stolen vehicle that had a dog inside
-Great-Pyrenees--1-

For the second day in a row a vehicle with a dog inside has been stolen, say police.

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a Toyoto Matrix stolen about 12:30 p.m. and the Great Pyrenees dog that was inside.

The idling vehicle was swiped from a parking lot on 67th Street.

It’s not known if the dog is still with the vehicle or was dropped off somewhere.

On Tuesday, an idling black Toyoto 4Runner was stolen with two dogs inside. The pooches were later turned in to the Red Deer and District SPCA.

The latest dog is a large, fluffy white male dog. It is three years old and answers to the name “Fatty”. It has a lime green leash.

The vehicle is a dark grey 2013 Toyoto Matrix with missing hubcaps on the front driver side and rear passenger side.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP at 403-343-5575 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com
