After about two weeks since a Red Deer physician died, the Village Mall Walk-In clinic where he worked is reopening.
In a statement the clinic confirmed the clinic will be open this weekend from 10 to 3 p.m. and starting Monday from 8 to 5 p.m.
“We would like to thank the community for their support during this difficult time,” states the release.
Dr. Walter Reynolds was attacked in the clinic’s examination room Aug. 10. He was taken to the hospital where he subsequently died.
RCMP responded to an assault in progress call Aug. 10 around 11:10 a.m.
Fifty-four-year-old Deng Mabiour has been charged with first degree murder of Reynolds.
