Walk-in vaccine clinic for first and second doses open this weekend in Red Deer

Alberta Health Services will open its walk-in vaccine clinic this weekend in Red Deer for anyone ages 12 and up looking for first and second doses.

Alberta Health Services will open its walk-in vaccine clinic this weekend in Red Deer for anyone ages 12 and up looking for first and second doses.

Drop-in immunization appointments will be available from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Westerner Exhibition Hall located at 4847A 19 St. in Red Deer.

Youth born in 2009 or earlier will receive the Pfizer vaccine; Albertans born in 2003 or earlier will receive the Moderna vaccine.

Those attending the clinic are asked to bring their Alberta Health Care card if they have one, along with photo ID. Use of face masks and hand sanitizer is required when attending the site for immunization.
