Wall washing

Bob Richardson of K-Hansen Masonry washes the brick walls of St. Mary’s Church on Friday. Cleaning the facade was the final step in a three-week repair and restoration effort where Richardson replaced about 300 weathered bricks. The church on Red Deer’s 39th Street was designed by eminent architect Douglas Cardinal and cost $300,000 to build in 1968.
