Warrant issued for a Central Albertan in connection with an attempted murder

Maskwacis RCMP have issued a warrant for the suspect in an attempted murder that happened early Wednesday morning.

Police said they have been unable to locate Jesse James Cabry, 29, of Maskwacis, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He faces charges of attempted murder while using a firearm, and pointing a firearm.

RCMP said the investigation into the attempted murder of a 17-year-old male on March 2, on Samson Cree Nation, is ongoing.

Cabry is described as 1.84 metres tall, weighing 76 kilograms, with a slender build. He has long brown hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion.

Jesse Cabry is believed to be armed and dangerous and RCMP warn the public not to approach him.
