A warrant has been issued for a Red Deer man accused of multiple instances of fraud and passing forged documents.

Chance Aaron Shaw, 23, was not present at the Monday arraignments in Red Deer Court of Queen’s Bench nor was counsel to represent him.

As a result, Crown prosecutor Jordan Petty asked Justice Charlene Anderson to issue a warrant for Shaw’s arrest. Shaw is accused of offering a house for rent under false pretenses.

Further Red Deer RCMP investigation led them to believe the same suspect was involved in delivering workplace safety training without having the proper authority.

He was arrested on Feb. 16, 2014, but was release from custody.
