Watershed ambassador plan boosted

Red Deer River Watershed Alliance Society has received $2,500 from the RBC Foundation to help with its Watershed Ambassador Program.The RBC Blue Water Project Community Action Grant will be given to the society on Monday from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. at the watershed society office in Red Deer at 4918 59th St.

The RBC Blue Water Project Community Action Grant will be given to the society on Monday from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. at the watershed society office in Red Deer at 4918 59th St.

The Watershed Ambassador Program was created to help raise the profile of the watershed, its stewards and celebrate stewardship achievements through the watershed.

The watershed alliance is a multi-sector, non-profit organization that promotes the good use and proper management of water in the Red Deer River watershed.
