Compute is a wearable art showcase with pieces created to incorporate various recycled computer parts. Elizabeth Ferchuk, a computer tutor, works with technology on a daily basis. This exhibit is her way of combining her love of beading and jewelry design, with the keyboard keys, wires and computer chips that continuously surround her. Compute This will run at Gallery IS at 5123 48th St. on Alexander Way in Red Deer from now until Oct. 30. The opening reception which will feature live entertainment by Dr. Wu playing classical guitar is Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
