Wetaskiwin teen missing

RCMP put call out for public’s assistance

Wetaskiwin RCMP are trying to locate a missing teen and are asking for the public’s help.

Shakira Soosay, 16, was seen the night of Sept. 9 in Wetaskiwin, but the police need to verify her well-being, and make contact with her.

Soosay is Indigenous, 1.6 metres tall, and weighs 66 kilograms. She has brown eyes and her black hair is dyed blond. She was last known to be wearing a white Underarmor hoodie and black leggings.
