Wine and Beyond opens its doors in Red Deer

Huge wine, beer and spirits store located in former Rona at 2610 50th Ave.

Wine and Beyond: Spirits Beer & More opened the doors to its Red Deer location on Thursday in the former Rona location at 2610 50th Ave. David Langlois, store manager of Calgary’s Mount Royal Liquor Depot, came to help out and is seen here pouring a sample from the store’s taster bar, where customers can try out samples of beers and spirits. Red Deer Wine and Beyond general manager Ashley Wyness, left, said the 15,000-square-foot store has 2,000 different spirits, 1,500 varieties of beer and 3,000 different wines. There are now eight Wine and Beyond stores in Alberta.
