Winter storm watch in effect for Central Alberta

A winter storm watch is in effect for various part of Central Alberta including Red Deer, Lacombe and Blackfalds.

A winter storm watch is in effect for various part of Central Alberta including Red Deer, Lacombe and Blackfalds.

The watch is also in effect for Camrose County near Bashaw, parts of County of Stettler, Lacombe County neat Clive, Alix, Mirror, Eckville and parts of Red Deer County near Penhold, Innisfail, Bowden, Ponoka and Sylvan Lake.

There’s also a snowfall warning in effect in parts of Clearwater County near Rocky Mountain House.

Red Deerians can expect periods of light now with a low of -27 C tonight with the wind chill. About two to four centimetres of snow is expected tomorrow with the wind chill of -25 C in the morning.
