Gallery IS co-owner and artist Jeri-Lynn Ing works on an acrylic on canvas piece she will include in a 10-painting exhibit. The works are in progress and anyone interested can drop in to see how the paintings are coming along through August. After a month-long exhibit in Edmonton, the paintings depicting life in Central Alberta from the 1930s to current day will be back on exhibit in October. Gallery IS, located at 5123 Alexander Way in Red Deer, features a collective of artists and working studio space. The gallery also brings in feature artists on an ongoing basis.
