Woman, 58, dies after two vehicles collide with the same deer

NEEPAWA, Man. — RCMP say a 58-year-old woman is dead after a vehicle she was a passenger in hit a deer just north of Neepawa.

Police say a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old man was travelling northbound on Highway 5 when it hit a deer.

Investigators say a southbound vehicle then struck the same deer.

The driver and passenger, both from the rural municipality of Cornwallis, were taken to hospital.

The female passenger was pronounced dead, and the driver has minor injuries.
